What VeriFactu is and why it exists

VeriFactu is AEAT’s system to ensure every invoice issued is traceable and authentic. It requires event logging, signing and sending information to the Tax Agency. We help you translate those rules into daily routines.

The goal is to reduce fraud and standardise e-invoicing in Spain. It impacts numbering, corrections and storage.

Timeline

  • • 2026: Progressive entry for companies and SMEs (by activity/volume).
